We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Automation Test Engineer/Lead with proven expertise across multiple, modern automation technologies. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, executing tests across web and API layers, and ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust automation frameworks using expertise in technologies like Java Selenium, WebdriverIO, or Playwright (JavaScript).
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define and implement comprehensive test strategies across UI and API layers.
Automate test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.
Build and maintain scalable test scripts and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Conduct API Automation using tools such as Restassure or WebdriverIO/Playwright and validate backend services.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ensure high quality across all releases.
Experience: 6+ Years & 10+ years
Required Skills:
Extensive experience (4+years) in test automation with proven expertise in at least one of the following stacks: Java and Selenium or JavaScript with WebdriverIO or Playwright
Strong understanding of modern automation frameworks like Page Object Model (POM), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), or hybrid models.
Proficiency in scripting and writing automation tests in Java and/or JavaScript.
Experience in API automation testing using either Restassure (Java) or JavaScript-based frameworks (WebdriverIO/Playwright).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team.
Version control using Git or Bitbucket.
Location: Kochi / Bangalore
Notice Period- Immediate to less than 30 Days
