Job Summary

Distinct Infotech Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect to design scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, technical leads, and development teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.

The Solution Architect will play a key role in defining system architecture, selecting technologies, reviewing designs, mitigating technical risks, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Design end-to-end software architecture for enterprise applications.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Define application architecture, integration architecture, and deployment architecture.
Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and performance optimized.
Prepare high-level and low-level design documents.
Technical Leadership
Guide development teams on architecture implementation.
Review technical designs and code for architectural compliance.
Provide technical mentorship to Team Leads and Senior Developers.
Recommend best practices, frameworks, and development standards.
Resolve complex technical challenges.
System Design
Design Microservices Architecture.
Design RESTful APIs and integration services.
Design cloud-native applications.
Design distributed systems.
Design database architecture.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
Technology Evaluation
Evaluate emerging technologies.
Recommend suitable frameworks and tools.
Perform Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Standardize technology stacks.
Recommend performance improvements.
Cloud & Infrastructure
Design solutions for Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Work closely with DevOps teams.
Design CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Support containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Security & Compliance
Ensure application security standards.
Review authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Implement secure coding practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
Perform architecture risk assessments.
Project Collaboration
Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners.
Participate in requirement gathering sessions.
Estimate technical efforts.
Identify project risks and mitigation plans.
Support project planning and delivery.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Master's Degree is an added advantage.
TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Architect, AWS Solution Architect, or similar certifications are preferred.
Experience
8–12+ years of overall software development experience.
3–5 years of experience in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture.
Experience designing enterprise-scale software applications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience in cloud-based application architecture.
