Test Engineer

Job Title: Test Engineer (3+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our ERP-based software solutions. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and occasional client visits for requirement validation, testing support, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze functional and business requirements for ERP modules

Prepare and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

Perform manual testing including functional, integration, system, and regression testing

Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools

Validate data accuracy and workflows across ERP modules

Coordinate with developers and product teams to resolve issues

Participate in client meetings and onsite client visits when required

Support UAT and provide testing assistance during client implementation

Prepare test reports and quality metrics

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

3+ years of experience in software testing

Hands-on experience in ERP application testing

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

Experience with JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools

Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements

Willingness to travel for client visits as required

Ability to interact directly with clients in a professional manner
